Sigur rós 

this band is AMAZING. I have been listening to them for a few years and they are just so inspirational and just amazing. They are the main artist in the movie, We Bought A Zoo. Did I mention that they are Icelandic? Yeah, Icelandic. Cool, right? Well I thought so and the fact that they are not American makes them so much cooler. 

-jón þór birgisson (nickname jónsi) - vocals, guitar, synth

-kjartan sveinsson (nickname kjarri) - piano, keyboards, guitar, flute

-georg hólm (nickname goggi) - bass, xylophone

-orri páll dýrason (nickname erm.. orri) - drums, keyboards

The band name is Sigur rós means "Victory Rose" in Icelandic and is named after Jónsi's sister. They don't sing in all Icelandic, a lot is also english which is awesome.

So if you like music, and I expect that you do, then you need the Pandora app. Pandora Radio is an amazing app and it is available on iTunes. You can make any amount of radio stations that you want and all you have to do is type in an artists name or a song. After you do that it creates a radio station with an occasional commercial and all the songs are ones that are relative to what you picked. Its awesome! Did I mention the app is free! 





Summer playlist!! good songs for a summer playlist are of the happy/up beat/ variety. A lot of pop songs are usually in that category. I usually have some pop songs, and then tons of country:). Country is awesome and so many people dis it which is totally mean :p. I like artists like Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, The Eli Young Band, The Band Perry, Eric Church. For pop, right now im into Karmin's: brokenhearted, and Call me Maybe, by Carly Rae Jepsen. Also Demi Lavato's Give your heat a break. Of course it wouldn't be a playlist (for me) without One Direction:) and a really fun sumer song is What Makes You Beautiful, Everything About You. You also can never go wrong with a bit of J Lo and some Train, maybe some Usher...maybe.









right now i'm into (One Direction, i will always love them but..) a weird mix of country and pop.
